About Chateau Mooseau
As Janeeva “Janie” Mooseau advanced in years, her personal needs and health requirements increased.
Having taught developmentally disabled children and fostered D.D. adults, she opened her home and heart for many years.
Opting to remain in her home for the comfort and care she required, Janie recognized the growing need of care for other seniors who prefer a home-like environment.
She again chose to open her home, Chateau Mooseau, to others so they could benefit from the same level of comforting care that she received.
Sadly, Janie passed away in July of 2007. However, she lives on in our hearts and her warm spirit is continued through our work here at Chateau Mooseau; Where we strive to make our residents feel loved and fulfilled during their senior years.
About Our Home
Conveniently located on Sonoma Avenue, Chateau Mooseau offers personalized care, a warm and welcoming environment and the security of knowing your loved one is treated with respect and genuine affection.
Our entire staff is screened and specifically trained in elder care, as well as committed to providing the highest standard of service and attention to our residents.
Chateau Mooseau offers a private or shared room in a 2600 square foot, graciously appointed home with brand new central heating and air-conditioning, including a sophisticated air-filtering system.
Chateau Mooseau boasts a state-of-the-art bathing facility with a large shower and step-in therapeutic tub, with a heated floor!
We have installed an ultra-violet water filtration softener system which purifies our drinking water through reverse-osmosis; resulting in delicious and 99.9 percent bacteria free water for healthy living.
Our bright and airy living room hosts a piano and a wide variety of games and activities, while outside is a large private yard, open and enclosed patio areas, and a colorful garden.
